Beatles Revolver Stereo 1st UK Press Parlophone Rare

Beatles Revolver Stereo 1st UK Press Parlophone Rare

Early 1st UK Beatles Stereo pressings like this are becoming so scarce and rare to find in this condition.

Revolver is the seventh studio album by English rock band the Beatles, released on 5 August 1966 on the Parlophone label and produced by George Martin. Many of the tracks on Revolver feature an electric guitar-rock sound that contrasts with their previous LP, the folk rock inspired Rubber Soul (1965). In Britain, the fourteen tracks from Revolver were released to radio stations throughout July 1966, “building anticipation for what would clearly be a radical new phase in the group’s recording career”

The Vinyl:
This is the original thick heavier chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen angled in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type and if really looked at hard there are some very light surface marks to be seen only.

The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system. . The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no nasty loud clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl, there was just very light isolated static ticks heard only in isolated places only to mention. Lovely sounding copy. Audio graded at least excellent if not much better in my opinion.

The Matrix:
Side 1“YEX 605-1”
Side 2“YEX 606-1”

The Mother Stampers
Side 1“3””0R”
Side 2 “?1″”AH”

The Labels:
These are the original 1st issue Parlophone Labels: feature “Sold In The UK….” text across the labels (only 1st press) K.J.T. tax code is stamped on side 2 (very early for this early pressing and rare to find) Any spidering can barely be seen angled to the light and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in my opinion.

The Record Sleeve:
This is the original Emitex record sleeve light creasing, browning, becoming fragile with age only.

The Cover:
This is the original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse Large flip back cover laminated front only. There are no real nasty creases on the front to mention this is nice and straight as it should be perhaps just minor half moon crease to mention only. no edge splits or tares. Amaizingly No yellowing can be seen, this is lovely and white. The rear is also lovely.  I would grade this at least excellent to excellent plus in my opinion.

For any Beatles lover that wants an original UK Beatles Revolver early first pressing with earliest  beautiful stereo audio this one is for you. Barely played original with just very light interference only. complete with original G&L cover and record sleeve.
