Led Zeppelin Coda Swan Song 1st UK Press Top Copy

Description

Led Zeppelin Coda Swan Song 1st UK Press Top Copy

Coda is the ninth and final studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released in 1982. The album is a collection of unused tracks from various sessions during Led Zeppelin’s twelve-year career. It was released two years after the group had officially disbanded following the death of drummer John Bonham. The word coda, meaning a passage that ends a musical piece following the main body, was therefore chosen as a title.

The Vinyl:
This is the original thick heavier chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen anglerd in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only. The playing surface is lovely.

The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system.  The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl. Lovely sounding copy any interference was minimal in the form of static only in isolated place.. Audio graded at least excellent plus to very near mint through out in my opinion.

The Matrix Endings:
Side 1″A2″ (hand etched Both sides with crossed out &corrected matrix
Side 2″B”  (hand etched Both sides with crossed out &corrected matrix

The Labels:
These are the original Swan Song labels (correct for this early pressing) Any spidering angled to the light is minimal and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in my opinion.

The Record Sleeve:
This is the original picture inner sleeve superbe condition very clean indeed.

The Cover:

This is the original un laminated Embossed rough textured cover in top condition I can’t see any major imperfections apart from very small stain mark aprox 1.5 cm at the rear.  I would grade this at least excellent plus in my opinion.
