Stunning 1st issue Gimmik Gatefold Cover!

This is an early original 1st UK pressing of Small Faces “Ogdens’ nut Gone Flake” released in 1968 on The immediate Lilac labels. Please note! This is listed for its collectability and playability rather than for its condition. The original gimmik gate fold cover is in exceptional condition and graded at least excellent if not better in my opinion. Visually the vinyl looks like it has been played a few times but not over played in my opinion. There are some surface marks/scratches noted on the playing surface which does cause some interference/crackle but overall this is a great and enjoyable copy to listen to. There are no skips or jumps during the play and nothing really annoying that I heard!
Please listen to the recording in the player below. I would grade the audio at least excellent to excellent plus for the most part in my opinion.

 The Matrix

Side 1 “IMSP 012-1Y (Earliest Possible for this pressing)
Side 2 “IMSP 012-2Y (Earliest Possible for this pressing)

The Mother Stampers

Side 1 “1” “R” (Look Earliest “1” to “1” Mother stampers)
Side 2 “1” “R” (Look Earliest “1” to “1” Mother stampers)

 The Vinyl

The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free from any warping. This cis the original thicker heavier slab of vinyl. (Only earliest press) There are some surface marks/scraches noted that can bee seen angled to the light but nothing to bad in my opinion. At least there are noould cause any skips or jumps.

The Audio Quality

I have play tested the vinyl two times on two different turntables/systems at very loud volume prior to this listing. The audio is very clear and vibrant throughout. There were just isolated ticks/pops heard mainly in quiet places to mention, but not consistant through out the audio. Light but isolated crackle heard in quiet places on a couple of tracks. in general the vinyl is very playable and enjoyable in my opinion. Importantly there were no skips or jumps.
I would grade the audio at excellent! Listen to the complete recording of this album in the player above!
A very collectable and enjoyable copy 50 years old like this!

The Labels

These are the original 1st UK Immediate liluc labels Spider marks can be seen angled to the light. This has obviously been played but not over played in my personal opinion!. There is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round.
Note: The K.T tax code is stamped on side one labels. ( Only found on original pressings)

The Record Sleeve

This is a custom cut poly lined paper record sleeve. This is straight and generally clean. Note this is not the original in my opinion.

The Cover

This is the original 1st issue Un laminated gimmik cover. Super clean and straight. No nasty creases to report and any storage wear/creases you have to look to notice in my opinion. Any edge rubbing is very slight only and not noticed unless looked for in my opinion. Rich and very vibrant colours. Very rare to find in decent condion and original. I would grade this cover at least excellent to excellent plus in my opinion.
