1967–1970 (widely known as “The Blue Album”) is a compilation of songs by the English rock band The Beatles, spanning the years indicated in the title. It was released with 1962–1966 (“The Red Album”), in 1973. 1967–1970 made number 1 on the American Billboard chart and number 2 on the British Album Chart. This album was re-released in September 1993 on compact disc, charting at number 4 in the United Kingdom. The album was compiled by Beatles manager Allen Klein. Songs performed by the Beatles as solo artists were also considered for inclusion, but like the cover songs on 1962–1966, limited space resulted in this idea having to be abandoned. Along with its 1962–1966 counterpart, it compiles every single A-side released by the band in the UK

The Vinyls:
These are the original thick heavier chunky slab of vinyls only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches at all just the odd isolated surface scuff can be seen only.. Any other marks that could possibly be seen angled in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only. The playing surface is in general, lovely.
The Audio Quality:
I have not played the vinyls but visually I would expect at least excellent grade for the most part. Perhapes some static type ticks may be heard where there are isolated scuffs only. All in all the playing surfaces look nice. If you want me to play grade this album Please contact me for a request.

The Labels:
These are the original 1st issue Apple Labels: Any spidering can barely be seen angled to the light and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in mt opinion.
The Record Sleeve:
These are the original Blue lyric sleeves becoming fragine with age beginning to split at the edges now the vinyls are stored separately fro the sleeves.
The Cover:
This is the original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse flip back cover laminated gate fold cover. Features the original “Blue Vinyl” Sticker (only 1st press) There are no real nasty creases to mention this is nice and straight as it should be. no edge splits or tares. I would grade this at least excellent if not betterin my opinion.
Summery:
For any Beatles fans these originals are becoming very collectable especially complete and with the original shop sticker.
