Beatles For Sale 1st UK Album Parlophone N.Mint Audio

Amazingly no splits or tares.

Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 4 December 1964 and produced by George Martin for Parlophone. The album marked a minor turning point in the evolution of the Lennon–McCartney partnership, John Lennon particularly now showing interest in composing songs of a more autobiographical nature. “I’m a Loser” shows Lennon for the first time coming under the influence of Bob Dylan, whom he met in New York while on tour, on 28 August 1964

The Vinyl:
This is the original thick heavier chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen angled in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type marks only.

The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge . The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no nasty loud clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl Lovely sounding copy. Audio graded at least excellent plus to very near mint in my opinion.

The Matrix:
Side 1“XEX 503-3N”
Side 2“YEX 505-4N”

The Mother Stampers
Side 1“4””A0P”
Side 2 “1””RTL”

The Labels:
These are the original 1st issue Parlophone Labels: feature “Sold In The UK….” text across the labels (only 1st press) K..T. tax code is stamped on side 1 (Correct for this early pressing and rare to find) Any spidering can be seen angled to the light (my only criticism that spidering is a little wide on one side)  there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in my opinion.

The Record Sleeve:
This is the original Emitex record sleeve light creasing, browning, becoming fragile with age only.

The Cover:
This is the original 1st issue internal flip back gate fold cover laminated front only. Really amazing to find that there are no real nasty creases on the front to mention very rare to find and no edge splits or tares. There is however, slight rippling of the cover which seems to have been in a damp atmosphere at some stage, but I must stress that I only really noticed this when taking photos.   I would grade this at least excellent probably much better in my opinion.
