The Labels:
These feature the original Dark Apple Labels for sides 1&3 only 1st UK press (later press feature lighter labels) “Sold In The UK….” Text is written across the labels (Only 1st Press) These feature “An EMI Recording” on all four sides. Spidering can be seen around the spindle holes but there is little if no spindle wear the holes are perfectly round.
The Vinyls:
Both vinyls lay perfectly flat on the turntable and are free of any warping. These are the original thick heavier type of vinyls only found on the earliest. On vinual inspection there are some light surface marks/scratches but nothing too bad at all. At least there are no nasty marks that would cause any sticking or loud constant clicks or pops.
The Audio Quality:
I have played all four sides on a top system at very loud volume prior to this listing. Importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge. All four sides play absolutely cristal clear and very vibrant without distortion and no jumps or sticks. Overall audio grading is better than excellent in my opinion.
Side 1. Audio clear and vibrant light ticks only and isolated clicks to mention no loud nasty constant clicks. Graded Excellent in my opinion.
Side 2. Audio clear and vibrant light ticks only and isolated clicks to mention no loud nasty constant clicks. Graded Excellent in my opinion.
Side 3. Audio clear and vibrant light ticks only and isolated clicks to mention no loud nasty constant clicks. Graded at least Excellent to Excellent Plusin my opinion.
Side 4. Audio clear and vibrant light ticks only and isolated clicks to mention no loud nasty constant clicks. Graded at least Excellent to Excellent Plus in my opinion.
The Record Sleeves:
These are the original black Apple sleeves becoming fragile with age with edge seam splitting beginning on some edges and minor small taring on one of the sleeves. . Please note the record sleeves are always stored seperately from the vinyls and cover for protection.
The Cover:
The 1st issue “Top Opening” Internal flipback Garrod & Lofthouse gate fold cover features the early number 0128715. This is fully laminated front inside and rear. Generally clean with light storage wear bumping at one corner to mention minimal creases and or yellowing to mention. There are no splits or tares and this is strong and straight. all text is fully readable.

All four photos are present. In fantastic condition.
The Poster:
No splits or tares. Minor wear with age only.

This is a great playable copy overal grading excellent condition very enjoyable original MONO audio quality only heard like this on these earliest originals. Everything is original and complete.
