Original 1st UK pressing of  Cream Wheels Of Fire Polydor Records labels ((STEREO)) 1968 release cat no. 583033.

Wheels of Fire is the third album by the British rock band Cream.

The album was released in August 1968 as a two-disc vinyl LP, with one disc recorded in the studio and the other recorded live. It reached number three in the United Kingdom and number one in the United States.
It was also released as two single LPs, Cream Wheels of Fire (In the Studio) and Cream Wheels of Fire (Live at the Fillmore), both variations were released together with similar cover art.

Also in the UK the studio album art was black print on aluminum foil while the live album art was a negative image of the studio cover.

The Vinyl

The first thing to note is that this vinyl has barely ever been played more than a handfull of times.

On initial inspection the vinyl looks like new, importantly this is also the original thick ,heavy and chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings.

Any marks that can be seen in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal only and non audio sounding on my systems. This certainly looks almost like a new record in my opinion.

The audio is graded as near mint perfect on my systems, stunning cristal clear audio throughout. It souns like new in my opinion

The Cover

The UK printed un- laminated James Upton Printed cover is extreemely clean for a 41 year old album this cover is graded at least excellent plus to very near mint.

Summary

As a result I would say that this is an archive copy. I certainly beleive that you would Never Need To Upgrade.
