RESERVED!
Cat No.7-63202 Blue Horizon labels 1968 1st UK pressing. -A1,-B1 Matrix endings (only 1st press) Textured 1st issue labels
A very rare and sought after original 1st UK pressing (The rarest and most sought after being this mono variation) a rare recording featuring Eddie Boyd on vocals and piano and the Fleetwood Mac trio, Peter Green on guitar, John Mcvie: Bass,Mick Fleetwood on drums. . This was originaly purchased from new and initialy only ever played a hand ful of times only, then the album has been stored in a case with the vinyl seperated from the sleeve and cover for protection which has preserved this album all of this time. It is quite unbeleivable to find these original ist pressings in this very near perfect condition like this, especialy after 40 years.
The cover (1st issue E.Day printed, Laminated front\Unlaminated rear
Visualy this is in exceptionaly beautiful condition without the usual storageware looks almost as new, very very glossy laminate graded at least excvellent plus very near mint.
The vinyl and audio (Excellent plus toVery near mint.)
The vinyl, visualy it is quite obvious that this has barely ever been played. Showing barely a handful of spider marks around the spindle hole which can only barely be seen angled to the light only the labels are stunningly near perfect without the usual bloching marks. The vinyl has (no) audible surface marks or scratches. Any marks that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal only.
The Audio play grading (near perfect, Played at very loud volume on a top system using a dedicated mono cartridge)
This 41 year old vinyl plays almost as good as new in my opinion. I have very carefully listened to this album track for track, this stunning blues album is cristal clear and very vibrant throughout, I think you will find it hard to find any better. Any static that might be heard during the playback would probably be contributed to the fact that this has been stored away for over 30 years or more, so a constant clean before each play would be highly recomended, this will reduce any static ticks or crackle and would enhance the audio quality.
