Gerry and the Pacemakers were a British beat music group prominent during the 1960s. In common with the Beatles, they came from Liverpool, were managed by Brian Epstein and recorded by George Martin. They are most remembered for being the first act to reach number one in the UK Singles Chart with their first three single releases.

The Vinyl:
This is the original thick heavier chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches but I notice a small scuff type mark on the vinyl. Any othermarks that could possibly be seen anglerd in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only.
The Audio Quality:
I have not played the vinyl but i would expect the audio quality to be excellent and in my opinion has had very little play indeed. I would expect that it is also possible to hear light clicks in one place that has a scuffing mark. If you wish me to play grade the vinyl please contact me.
The Matrix:
Side 1″YAX 2766-1N”
Side 2″YAX 2767-1N”
The Mother Stampers:
Side 1 “2” “H”
Side 2 “1” “O”
The Labels:
These are the original 1st issue Culombia Labels: feature “Sold In The UK….” text across the labels (only 1st press) K.T. tax code is stamped on side 2 (correct for this early pressing) Any spidering can barely be seen angled to the light and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in my opinion.
The Record Sleeve:
This is the original Emitex record sleeve light creasing, browning, becoming fragile with age only.
The Cover:
This is the original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse flip back cover laminated fron only. There is light general storage wear rubbing at the edges and corners with age. There are no real nasty creases on the front to mention this is nice and straight as it should be. no edge splits or tares. The rear is clean free of nasty names written any grubbyness is minimal light rubbing wear at the rear only really noticed if looked for in my opinion. I would grade this at excellent in my opinion.
Summery:
For any Beatles lover that wants an original UK Beatles Help early first pressing with uninterrupted beautiful mono audio this one is for you. Barely played original complete with original G&L cover and record sleeve.
