The labels

The original Textured TRACK labels are in awesome condition! (These look superb in my opinion)! Amaizingly I can just barely see one or two spider marks/trails only, even when angled to the light and of coarse little if (no) spindle ware the hole is perfectly round. This has only ever been played a handful of times only from new. So rare for an album that is 45 years old! Impossible to find like this! very very collectable!One of the earliest UK pressings very rare in this condition!

The vinyl

This is the original thick and heavier type of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings! This is free of any warping and lays flat on the turntable! The vinyl is clean and free of any needle scratches or marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops! On initial visual inspection this looks like new and still retains its sheen from new! (please note this vinyl has only ever been played a few times in the last 45 years this has been stored in a case with the vinyl separated from the sleeve and cover to prevent ring ware and damage. Any marks that could possible be seen when angled in strong light would be light whyspy surface sleeve removal type scuffs only.

The Audio Quality

I have played this through track for track prior to listing at very very loud volume on a top system! The moment the needle hits the playing surface it is obvious this vinyl has barely ever been played at all! The audio quality is as you would expect when purchased new, superbe, TOP, TOP, TOP! cristal clear and extremely vibrant through out in fact this plays truly superb. This played through superb unbelievable audio seperation. Even in between tracks this was lovely and quiet. This vinyl has been stored separately from the cover in a poly sleeve for over 45 years! This is the way I always have stores my records! The vibrancy of the audio on this pressing in my opinion is as good as it gets for a very early 1st issue variation! Note: Any interference is minimal isolated ticks or static may be heard in quieter places or in between tracks only. I heard one pop on the 1st track side one to mention. I would class myself as highly critical and this is a truly exceptional sounding vinyl by this awesome rock band ”Golden Earing” and so hard to find like this! Please check my completed listings of records that i have sold of this quality and you will see that i normally get it right! I would grade the audio near as mint!

Please note! That i always make this disclaimer! Allowances must be made for these mid seventies pressings. Please allow for the odd isolated static/ /tick’pop that may be heard in quiet places or in between tracks, certainly not consistent throughout the audio. This is a genuine 45 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 45 year old system! Genuinly only ever played a handful of times ever!

Points to note! This has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 45 years! A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves from laying dormant causes static crackle\ticks! A constant clean before each play is recommended ! This would reduce any static and enhance the audio quality!

The Record Sleeve

This is the original plain white poly lined record sleeve, clean and straight. No splits or tears, light creasing/yellowing/fading with age only.

The Cover

The original 1st issue un-laminated TEXTURED MacNeil Press Gatefold cover. Note: This is very clean and straight with no splits or tearsno nasty creases. any creases are very minimal only and you have to look to notice any. By nature these are very difficult to keep in good condition and being non laminated are very prone to rubbing. There are (no) edge splits or tears. Note: There is some very,very light storage wear/ rubbing mark noted on the front, only really noticed if looked for in my opinion. The spine is generally lovely and square A truly superbe example rarely seen like this.! Amazingly no nasty ring wear. the rear is exceptionally clean. Must be at least better than Excellent to excellent plus in my opinion rarely ever seen like this after 45 years old!

The Lyric Sleeve

This is complete with the original lyric sleeve inner. This is very clean and straight with no tears.
