The Song Remains the Same is a concert film featuring the English rock band Led Zeppelin. The filming took place during three nights of concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with additional footage shot at Shepperton Studios due to cameramen’s unacceptable work at the concerts. The film premiered on 20 October 1976, at Cinema I in New York and at Warner West End Cinema in London two weeks later.[1] It was accompanied by a soundtrack album of the same name. The DVD of the film was released on 31 December 1999. Promotional materials stated that the film was “the band’s special way of giving their millions of friends what they had been clamouring for – a personal and private tour of Led Zeppelin. For the first time the world has a front row seat on Led Zeppelin.”

The Vinyls:
These are the original thick heavier chunky slabs of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen angled in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type scuffs only.
The Audio Quality:
I have not played the vinyls but visually I would expect at least excellent playback. I will play grade the vinyls if requested. Please contact me for more info.

The Labels:
These are the original Swan Song labels (correct for this early pressing) I can’t really see any major spidering, angled to the light and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in mt opinion. In fact the only label that has slight ware is side four that I can see.
The Record Sleeve:
This is the original plain white paper sleeves.
The Cover:
This is the original un laminated black textured cover and with embossed pictures on the front and rear. There is light general storage ware to mention, minor creases and rubbing ware. I would grade this at least excellent in my opinion.
