A Hard Day’s Night is the third studio album by British rock group the Beatles, released on 10 July 1964, with side one containing songs from the soundtrack to their film A Hard Day’s Night. The American version of the album was released two weeks earlier, on 26 June 1964 by United Artists Records, with a different track listing. This is the first Beatles album to be recorded entirely on four-track tape, allowing for good stereo mixes.

The Vinyl:
This is the original thick heavier chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen anglerd in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only. The playing surface is lovely NEAR MINT.

The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system.  The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl. Lovely sounding copy. Audio graded at very near mint in my opinion.

The Matrix:
Side 1″YEX 126-2″
Side 2″YEX 127-2″

The Mother Stampers:
Side 1 “1” “RT”
Side 2 “2” “RG”

The Labels:
These are the original TWO BOXED EMI/ Parlophone Labels: NO REAL spidering can be seen angled to the light and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. Looks barely pl;ayed no more than one time in my opinion.

The Record Sleeve:
This is the originalEMI poly lined die cut record sleeve with ‘important’ text becoming fragile with age only in lovely condition.

The Cover:
This is the original and rarest to find in good condition laminated front only non flip back rear Garrod & Lofthouse cover. There are no real nasty creases on the front to mention this is nice and straight as it should be just minor laminate creases at the bottom edges and one or two in other places nothing too bad. no edge splits or tares. The rear is also lovely any storage wear is just minimal in the form of light vinyl impression only noticed if looked for. I would grade this at least excellent to excellent plus in my opinionif not much better in my opinion.

Summery:
A nice classic early seventies Archive  pressing near mint vinyl!
