Description
U2 The Joshua Tree
Cat no:U26
The original gatefold Cover is very clean and straight with no creases all text is readable. Any storage wear is minimal only it is noted that there is very slight foxing seen if looked for. The spin is lovely with no crushing and all text readable. No ring wear. graded better than excellent in my opinion..
The black record sleeve is straight with no edge splits or creases. Excellent plus
The poster
The lyric and picture poster is superb very straight no creases very minor foxing also excellent plus.
The Matrix
Hand Etched
Side A “(U2 6 A2” (with master pressers signature hand etched)
Side B “u2 6-B/7”
Labels
No spindle marks seen (this looks unplayed in my personal opinion.)
The vinyl
This lays perfectly flat on the turntable. No visible scratches or marks on the playing surface. Any marks that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal only.
Visually near mint.
The Audio
Clear an vibrant throughout. No constant clicks or pops heard. Any static was heard is very isolated quiet places only. It was noted that regret was seen on the playing surface after play. Audio graded at very near mint in my opinion.
Note I always add this disclaimer: This record has been laying dormant in a case for over 30 years and a build up of dirt and dust in the grooves cause static crackle/ticks. This could do with a constant cleaning before each play to reduce static and enhance the audio quality.
