Head First was the 15th studio album from British rock band Uriah Heep. It was released in 1983, on Gerry Bron’s UK label Bronze Records. The album was recorded by the line-up responsible for the previous year’s Abominog, but this time with a greater proportion of the songs written by the band members. Bob Daisley left the group shortly after the album’s recording to rejoin Ozzy Osbourne; on the Head First tour former Heep bassist Trevor Bolder rejoined the band, effectively replacing his replacement, and remained with the band until his death in 2013. Though Head First was deemed to be a worthy successor to Abominog by critics such as Geoff Barton, it suffered from a lack of promotion as Bronze went into liquidation the month after its release.

The Vinyl:
This is the original and amazingly thick vinyl. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen anglerd in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only. The playing surface is lovely looks totally unplayed in my opinion.
The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system. The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl. Lovely sounding copy. Audio graded at near mint in my opinion.

This is the original issue Unlaminated GLOSSY cover. No edge splits or tares.The rear is also lovely NO CREASES. I would grade this at leastNEAR MINT in my opinion.
