The Vinyl:
On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen angled in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal/scuffs type only. The playing surface is lovely.
The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system. The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard two isloated pops in a couple of places on side one only during the play of this vinyl. Lovely sounding copy any interference was minimal in the form of static only in isolated place.. Audio graded at least excellent plus to very very near mint for the most part in my opinion.
The Matrix Endings:
Side 1″A1″ (machine stamped crossed out/corrected matrix)
Side 2″B3″
The Labels:
These are the original orange/green Atlantic labels 2nd label variation (correct for this early pressing) minimal spidering seen angled to the light, there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in my opinion.
The Record Sleeve:
This is the original plain paper sleeve made in England sleeve superb condition very clean indeed no splits or tears.
The Cover:
This is the original fully laminated cover printed bt MacNeil Press innice condition. I would grade this at least excellent to excellent plus in my opinion. Only if looked for I notice slight stain marks at the front top right corner and slight yellowing at the opening edge but not really noticed unless looked for. Any creases are very small at the edges. In general this is clean and straight graded excellent in my opinion.
Summery:
Rare to find these early original Zeppelin albums in this tip top condition.
