Beatles Please Please Me UK Stereo Near Mint Archive

A lovely original mid seventies Beatles debut album two boxed EMI Labels with Laminated front cover (No Barcode) near mint copy

Please Please Me is the debut album by the English rock band the Beatles. Parlophone rush-released the album on 22 March 1963 in the United Kingdom to capitalise on the success of the singles “Please Please Me” (No. 1 on most lists but only No. 2 on Record Retailer) and “Love Me Do” (No. 17). Of the album’s fourteen songs, eight were written by Lennon–McCartney (originally credited “McCartney–Lennon”), early evidence of what Rolling Stone later called “[their invention of] the idea of the self-contained rock band, writing their own hits and playing their own instruments.” In 2012, Please Please Me was voted 39th on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

The Vinyl:
This is the original vinyl. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen anglerd in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only. The playing surface is lovely looks barely ever played in my opinion.

The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system.  The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl. Lovely sounding copy. Audio graded at near mint in my opinion.

The Matrix:
Side 1″YEX 94-2″
Side 2″YEZ 95-1″

The Mother Stampers:
Side 1 “2” “GA”
Side 2 “1” “GRD”

The Labels:
These are the original  Parlophone TWO BOXED EMI Labels: Any spidering can barely be seen angled to the light and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in my opinion looks barely ever played at all.

The Record Sleeve:
This is the original EMI  record sleeve light creasing, browning, becoming fragile with age only.

The Cover:
This is the original issue Garrod & Lofthouse non flip back cover laminated front only early (press with laminate sleeve). There are no real nasty creases on the front to mention this is nice and straight as it should be. no edge splits or tares. The rear is also lovely. This cover is like it just came out of the shop in my opinion. I would grade this at least excellent plus to very Near Mint in my opinion.

Summery:

Barely played original complete with original G&L Laminaed front only cover and record sleeve. An Archive Copy Never Need To Upgrade becoming very collectable like this.
