Presence is the seventh studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, released by Swan Song Records on 31 March 1976. It was written and recorded during a tumultuous time in the band’s history, as singer Robert Plant was recuperating from serious injuries he had sustained in a recent car accident. The album received mixed reviews from critics and is also the slowest-selling studio album by the band (other than the outtake album Coda), only managing to achieve triple-platinum certification in the United States. Nonetheless, guitarist Jimmy Page describes Presence as the band’s “most important” album, proving they would continue despite their turmoil.

The Vinyl:
This is the original thick heavier chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings. On visual inspection I can’t see any needle scratches or indeed any marks that would cause any clicks or pops. Any marks that could possibly be seen anglerd in strong light would be light whyspy sleeve removal type only. The playing surface is AS NEW. LOOKS UNPLAYED!
The Audio Quality:
I have played this vinyl at very loud volume prior to this listing on a top system. The audio is cristal clear and vibrant through out no distortion or any signs of groove wear at all. I heard no clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl. Lovely sounding copy. Audio graded at near mint through out in my opinion.

The Labels:
These are the original SWANSONG labels (correct for this early pressing) I can’t really see any spidering, angled to the light and there is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. This has obviously only had very minimal play in mt opinion Looks almost unplayed condition.
The Record Sleeve:
This is the original TEXTURED LYRIC inner sleeve superbe condition very clean with very light staining/fading only if looked for.
The Cover:
This is the original un laminated embosed cover in near as mint condition. Any imperfections are very minimal almost like new. I would grade this at least excellent plus to Near Mint in my opinion.
Summery:
Rare to find these early original Zeppelin albums in this tip top condition.
