The Beatles Debut Black Gold Parlophone Please Please Me UK Press

EVERY beatles vinyl collectors dream is to one day own a copy of the original British Beatles debut album Please Please me with the rare gold and black Parlophone labled variation.
I have been a Beatles collector for more than 45 years and I have acumulated over 100 Beatles albums alone. I am fortunate that I own all of the earliest label variations of this album.
Here is a copy of the Beatles Please Please me. Black and Gold labels 2nd UK Pressing features the second label variation with the Nortnernn Songs Publishing credits for the tracks Plese Please Me, I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Do You Want To Know A secret, There’s A Place,
I still have the original sleeve but it is in a terrible state so I have put another slightly later fourth pressing cover with this album.

Condition

There is general wear and tear with age and usage remember that this is now over 50 years old and this has obviously been played and enjoyed many times. The amaizing thing is that this is still a very playable and enjoyable record. Amazingly this plays through without any major problems very clear and vibrant and with out distortion. There is no skips or jumps which also makes this so desirable indeed. Any interference heard was in the form of the odd light clicks or ticks or light crackle here and there but nothing too terrible in my opinion. quite amazing really. They certainly knew how to make these records in those days..

Obviously this album is far from mint but still so desirable to have and own and very rare to find now days, especially in playable condition..

Now, the question I tend to ask as a new user is… what can it do? Am I smart enough to get along with it? let me just say that Massive is a very ‘cool’ and easy to use piece of software! After all it had 600 ready to use presets to attempt to get bored with, but I would like to say that it is very difficult to get bored, even knowing you are flicking thru the work of another. And after all of that, Massive now contains over 1,300 sounds created by the leading artists and sound designers.

A lot of people tend spend a lot of time going thru presets, trying to connect their ideas to the sounds that they find within Massive. Most people will forget their original plan and become flooded with new ideas given to them from the vast sea of beautifully audible preset sounds, the good thing about Massive is the ability Native Instruments have given to the user to manipulate the perimeters of the sound to create a newly bred version of the original sound, using its ‘Macro Controls’ to carefully and precisely tinker with the sound and its individual parts to create a totally new one, no need to go on a year after year course… just twist the dial.

Not only is Massive a very useful tool to use within a studio environment I think that it is also very aesthetically pleasing piece of software, well laid out and easily learnt by new comers.

First Hand Made Fan Fretted Brook Acoustic Guitar

It was made for me by the top hand made luthiers, Brook Guitars, run by Simon and Andy based in the heart of the Westcountry, Devon, England. The look and feel of this guitar is outstandingly beautiful. I believe that this was one of the first fan fretted guitars that they had been asked to make and actually made for a customer. Since the great success of this fan fretted guitar they have made many more for other customers.
